John thanks for the feedback. And yes I'm already in dialogue with the UK. Interestingly I shared the original positive story with my Twitter followers and this was picked up MSC Cruises USA who then responded saying they would circulate the article internally. I hope they do the same with this post too.

Hi Mark, this is great, I like the way you have broken it down into small chunks to read, the different colours make it very readable. I can't wait for episode three! Have you thought of copying in the MD of MSC Cruises? ;) You could offer him the opportunity to fashion the ending and so end with "and they all lived happily ever after"

True but who is to say that the person you are practicing with will add any value. No point in practising unless you are practising and improving your skills. Better to find a coach or at least someone that can act as a coach even of they aren't formal coaches.

Adam thanks for the comment. Yes my son is now a convert to Indian food which makes life a lot less simpler when eating out at my favourite tandoori.

Great story, but what happened to your son? Was he converted to indian food? Or did he continue to sulk? 13 year old boys, eh? Mine's 11, and already getting to that difficult age!

Thanks for picking up the article! Yes, when someone like Xerox stands up for customer experience, others notice. I was pleased to see the graphic they sent (the one used in the blog, which you included) and that it focused on customer experience.Cheers!
